You are all welcome to keep your own list and moderate it among yourselves here in the forums, we have several Friday nights and Midnight's this year, but Kansas International Dragway will not be organizing these events.
Thank you

Eddie what do you say we start the list where it was ended last year. Let the current list racers vote on a race master and go from there.

That sounds like a good plan.

Street list Same rules as last year DOT Tire Tagged Insured Working Lights Must be able to make 30 mile cruise. (if someone calls you out on your ability to complete cruise they put down $100. You complete the cruise you get the $$$)No refueling during cruise. .500 Pro Tree NO BOARDS or SLIPS that way we get more people to race that do not want known how fast there car is.
Does that work for everyone? 1- Eddy Butler 2- Dave Engelken 3- Ryan Beck 4- Floyd Parks 5- Trey Adams 6- Brandon Moreland 7- Adam Opheim

We didn't have the DOT tires rule last year. This isn't a drag radial class and slicks have never been limited to just track use by "competitive" car people. Most of us have been running this list on slicks and I'm not looking to buy expensive drag radials for the "list" which pays zero to win. Rest of the rules ought to keep this deal legit. If anyone doesn't think my street car can legally and safely go 30 miles though I'd be more than happy to relieve them of a C note.

So just to be clear are we leaving or lifting the rule that you have to drive your car to the track ? And would the rules that if you dont respond in 48 hours to a callout you get bumped out of your existing spot ? Ant two consecutive available race weekends to get the race completed ? Just curious.... And besides that, I love the idea of keeping this List race going on even if its just between the racers.

Driving to the track is not required, but you can be called out at the track by the person you are racing to prove that it can make a 30 mile cruise. They put down $100, if you complete the cruise you get $100. If you do not complete the cruise they get the $100 back and get your spot. We need to figure out away to keep the list from being held by spot blockers. Something along the lines of set dates that everyone must defend there spots and if some can not attend racing can continue. Lets say spot #5 is not able to attend, #6 can call out #4, if #6 beats #4 they get the 4 spot. Original #4 drops to #5 and #5 that did not attend drops to #6. Also a safety net where you would only be required to defend your spot twice in one night, in case you are having problems (we all do LOL) and need time to get them straightened out.
The calling out and waiting 2 week is killing the amount of racing we could be doing.

Sounds like you have got it all figured out then. LOL !!!!! I dont really care what the rules are just as long as they are set and enforced. That way everyone follows the same steps. Besides that i just like showing up on race day and having some good grudge racing going on. We need to talk to the others and se what they think ?

And do you and the others like the rule that when you are going for the number one spot, that its the best 2 out of 3 ?

^^^^ all good ideas except maybe best of 3 for top spot? Crown changing hands even by a fluke might keep it exciting. Thoughts?

We would appreciate the crown Shannon. As of right now Eddy will get it to start the season and hopefully be able to keep it. I personally do not like the 2 out of 3. I would like to see spots change as much as possible and that doesn't allow it like Trey was saying. I appreciate the nomination Trey and would be more than happy to organize everything if the others would like me to as well. Ryan
